On July 8th 2009, Grey Class finished off their Red Kites & Birds of Prey with an exciting trip to the Hawk Conservancy in Andover.

The excellent trip, enjoyed by everyone (especially the teacher and helpers) included seeing Vultures feeding, watching hawks, owls and eagles flying at extremely close range (!), holding a Barn Owl, and watching magnificent birds flying and soaring overhead.

The trip was a fantastic day out and the children learned lots about Birds of Prey.
