What have Red class been doing this term? Besides practising for the nativity, here are a few of the many things we have been doing:

The children have been very excited about a new initiative between Red and Mauve class where the children enjoy sharing books every Friday afternoon.

Subtraction using dinosaurs really captured the children's imagination.

The children are practising their maths skills using the outside area for inspiration and equipment.

The children have been learning a little about Hanukkah by making menorahs and latkes.

As part of the children's homework they had to create something about a celebration party which included a maths element. We used photocopies of coins to work out how much everything would cost.
