Children can either bring a packed lunch or have school dinners. The school kitchen serves a menu which follows healthy eating guidelines and is cooked on the premises. There is always a choice of main course followed by a pudding. Salads, fruit, yoghurt and cheese and biscuits are available daily.

Uniform
All children at Northbourne wear our school uniform. Both boys and girls can wear grey trousers with the school polo shirt and sweatshirt. Girls can choose to wear a grey skirt instead of trousers. All children should wear brown or black shoes or trainers. During the warmer summer months, girls can also wear a green and white gingham dress, and all children are encouraged to wear a cap to protect them from the sun.

We are delighted to report that the school received outstanding grades for the effectiveness and achievement of its Early Years and Foundation Stage, and also for the its vibrant and creative curriculum.
